Access

As a reference, here is a map of the closed streets for last year’s June 10th Foulée 2018 – Street Map

We recommend you arrive at Parc Outremont at least thirty minutes before the scheduled start of the race. Each runner must then proceed to the start line on Outremont Street, near Outremont Park, at least 10 minutes before the official start time.

Please note that it will not be possible to drive to the race site. We encourage you to go by bicycle, metro or bus. See the FAQ tab for more information. If you choose to use the car (although the best choice is really to walk, bike or transit), please note that several streets will be closed. Nevertheless, the following parking lots will be accessible: Edward-Charles Street (north of Laurier), Avenue de l’Épée (south of Van Horne), Querbes Avenue (south of Van Horne), Bloomfield Avenue (north of Van Horne). The rest of the parking areas are affected by the street closures. You can also park along the streets (make sure to read the parking signs).
IMPORTANT: Please note that you will not be able to enter Parc Outremont before 7:00 am on the race day.

Personal Belongings

One bag per participant may be dropped off at the registration area at Parc Outremont before the start of the event and recovered after the race. Do not leave anything of value as we cannot ensure the safety of the bags and are not responsible for any theft, loss or damage.

Training

A huge thanks for the enthusiasm and energy of the Midtown Sanctuary that partnered with La Foulée des Parcs last year to offer training and advice to runners. You will find two downloadable documents containing training recommendations from their Race Coach as well as nutrition advice from their Midtown Clinic nutritionists: Training Tips and Nutrition Tips.
